Jamsil Karaoke Group Booking: 6 Planning Steps
A Jamsil karaoke group booking brings together two jobs: choosing the venue and coordinating everyone’s schedule. Dinner finishing times, late arrivals and early departures all affect what you need to arrange.
This guide is for organisers planning an after-dinner gathering with adult colleagues or a company team. Ask Galaxy which rooms and capacities are available for your date. A room photograph alone cannot confirm that everyone will fit.

1. Separate confirmed guests from possible additions
“Eight confirmed, with two more possible” gives a clearer starting point than “about ten.” Note whether everyone will arrive together and who may join later. Ask whether a change in headcount affects room assignment or minimum orders.
Give undecided guests a time to reply so the organiser does not have to keep revising the booking. It also helps to appoint one person as the main contact with the venue.
2. Separate dinner finishing time from arrival time
The end of dinner is not the same as arriving at the karaoke venue. Allow for paying the bill, travelling and regrouping. If the restaurant is already chosen, enter its address and the Lake Hotel address into a map service to check the actual journey.
If you use several cars or taxis, ask how the first arrivals should enter. Share the booking name and main contact number rather than relying only on “call when you get there.”
3. What to check for a Jamsil karaoke group booking
- Can all confirmed guests sit together in one room?
- Is the photographed room the one available for the booking?
- Does the seating suit singing, conversation or both?
- How are the basic duration and start time calculated?
- What can change if additional guests join?
Seating everyone comfortably matters more than a photograph that simply looks spacious. Explain the table layout or atmosphere you need. Browse Galaxy’s room gallery first so it is easier to describe your preferences.
4. Set a group budget and a payment organiser
Agree the budget for the entire group, then match it to your duration, food and drinks. Ask separately about the cost of the agreed basic arrangement and the cost if you extend the visit or place extra orders.
If the company will cover the gathering, ask ahead about the required payment method and available receipts or supporting documents. Check that the venue can handle the method your company requires. If guests intend to split payment, confirm how that can be arranged at the venue.
5. Send a short, accurate message to the group
Message example
Our after-dinner venue is Galaxy Karaoke.
Address: B2, Lake Hotel, 216 Seokchonhosu-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Expected arrival: [time] / Booking name: [name].
Please tell the organiser first if you will be late or your attendance changes.
If you need parking, check the arrangements before setting off.
Add a room number or entry instructions only after the venue confirms them. Avoid announcing complimentary parking, services or event benefits before you have checked the applicable conditions.
6. Send changes through one contact
After booking, collect changes to headcount, arrival time and the preferred package, then have the main contact pass them on. If dinner runs late, give an expected delay and check whether the booking can be adjusted rather than waiting until departure.
Also decide who will approve extensions and extra orders once the visit starts. Separate requests from several people can move the actual arrangement away from the agreed budget. Plan an end time with everyone’s journey home in mind.
